Came here with my wife for a 'mini-moon' to decompress and relax after our wedding. It was the perfect spot. We stayed the week before high season (last week of June). The hotel was quiet which is what we wanted. We had a wonderful king suite in a separate building behind the hotel and it was exactly what we were looking for. We used their complementary bikes for a great ride around Shelter Island. Shelter Island House was the perfect fit for our restful Shelter Island experience. We will definitely go back.

Ian and Suzanne bent over backward to make our wedding was a dream come true. We rented all rooms and the West Neck guesthouse. It felt intimate and the guests loved the decor, experience, convenience and “home away from home” feeling. I could not recommend this hotel more!

We stayed in the 3BR Osprey suite and it was very spacious for our family of 5. In addition, the staff is outstanding, including the owner who was extremely helpful. We truly loved our weekend at the Shelter Island House, and cannot wait to visit again!
