Set against coastal skies and newly restored gardens, The Lin Beach House is a historic Victorian retreat thoughtfully reimagined as a wedding destination. Reopening in Spring 2026, The Lin is designed to be more than a venue—it is a private coastal home where celebrations unfold naturally over an entire weekend.
Rooted in the rhythms of the North Fork, The Lin’s approach to weddings is grounded in seasonality, hospitality, and place. Chef-driven cuisine led by Chef Meg Huylo centers on ingredient-focused cooking inspired by local farms and coastal waters, highlighting freshness, simplicity, and the natural character of the region. A signature cocktail program, created in collaboration with Matchbook Distilling Co., features bespoke drinks crafted from award-winning spirits distilled just steps from the property.
Surrounding the house, hydrangeas, herb gardens, lavender, and salt air frame ceremonies and gatherings that feel timeless and deeply connected to the landscape. Inside, the restored Victorian architecture reveals refined interiors designed to welcome guests with warmth and ease—creating a setting that feels both elevated and inviting.
With six oversized guest rooms featuring soaring ceilings, California king beds, and private balconies, The Lin offers a serene home base for wedding parties and their closest guests. From Friday arrivals to Sunday farewells, every detail is designed to encourage guests to slow down, settle in, and celebrate together.

The Proof Is In The Praise!
Rave reviews from happy couples!
My stay at The Lin was absolutely dreamy. I stayed in The Bianca room, and it was huge - so much space and natural light. The bed was incredibly comfy, and I loved kicking back in the rocking chairs on the patio, sipping my morning coffee, and listening to the birds in the trees. The shop has a great selection of thoughtful amenities, plus some unique and tasty bottles from their sister property, Matchbook Distilling. The communal spaces are stunning too - so spacious and inviting. I found myself bouncing between different cozy nooks, diving into my book in complete peace and quiet. They’re super dog-friendly, and Bodhi had the best time exploring the property. The team at The Lin was wonderful too - so welcoming and full of great recommendations. I had a blast walking into town, and the beach was just a short stroll away. I can’t wait to go back!"

Are there any more stars available to give? The Lin beach house is a dream! Not only is it a beautiful peaceful getaway, but it has quick access to the beach, town, & Matchbook distilling! You can enjoy a happy hour in and around the house, we saw deer having a nap and we wanted to join. And don’t get me started on our room, A Dream.

Absolutely obsessed with this special under-the-radar North Fork spot!! A short stroll to town for all the restaurants, shops, and ferry access plus super easy home base to pop out to the areas numerous wineries + farm markets. It's also private enough that it feels like your own oasis. The bedrooms are huge, the beds are so comfy, and the shower had so many heads I may as well been having a spa treatment. Plus a clawfoot tub! Cute market downstairs with provisions and a full collection of incredible Matchbook Distilling spirits, plus an honor bar for an evening bev. Perfect to stroll to the nearby secret beach :) The only place I want to stay when visiting Greenport!!
